  1. Even when they don't fail they feel awful to type on. They have quite possibly the worst feeling mechanical switch ever. Not to mention they're ugly as sin.
  2. Christmas Gift for Friend - Which Keyboard?

Linear switches feel like typing on a sponge. I'd prefer a $5 rubber keyboard to a quality mech with linear switches.
  3. Need a quiet keyboard with light force switches

https://pcgamingrace.com/collections/glorious-gaming-modular-cherry-gateron-kailh-mechanical-keyboards/products/glorious-modular-mechanical-pc-gaming-keyboard-tenkeyless-tkl-87-key-gateron-cherry-kailh-switches You could get this modular keyboard with Gateron clears in it. Even if gat clears are too heavy since it's modular your can just easily pull the switches out and do a spring swap. Once out they're fairly easy to open once you get the hang of it. Though I think the lightest spring you can get is 30g and gat clears are already only 35g.
  4. Corsair Wrist rest when gaming...

    I use this. It's awesome. https://pcgamingrace.com/products/glorious-wood-mechanical-keyboard-wrist-rest
  5. Need a quiet keyboard with light force switches

It's hard, tedious at best. At worst, impossible without disassembling the entire keyboard, including desoldering all the switches.
  6. Best Compact Mechanical Keyboard?

Don't get a TKL if you want the smallest possible with arrows cluster. Both 75% and 65% are smaller and still have arrows. Vortex Race 3 a 75% https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=455 TADA68 a 65% https://kbdfans.myshopify.com/products/tada68-mechanical-keyboard-gateron-swtich-65-layout-dye-sub-keycaps-cherry-profils
  7. Want to Make a Server Out of a Old Computer

Install Ubuntu server. Here's a step by step I wrote. You can omit step 4 and 5 if you want. Only the first 3 are needed to get a server up and running.
  8. Need help picking mechanical keyboard

I'd take Outemu switches over Greetech any day of the week.
  9. You can download HWMonitor from cpuid and it will tell you how much juice your CPU is using at any given moment.
  10. AKRacing vs dxracer vs maxnomic

    Get an office chair.
  11. Where do you find kaihl bronze keyboards?

There are a bunch of low quality ones all over the place. That is the best you can get outside of building a custom one.
  12. Where do you find kaihl bronze keyboards?

There aren't any AFAIK. You'd have to make it yourself. Although you could pay someone else to do it. Building keyboards is not cheap like building your own gaming PC is. Hell I'd be willing to do it for next to nothing but you'd still have to pay for all the shipping and parts. Yes, but it's a tedious process of de-soldering and re-soldering. Or you could buy a modular/hot-swap keyboard like the ones from Glorious.
  13. What mousepad should i get?

I have this one at work. Had it almost a year and it's in perfect condition. It's extended but a bit smaller than most extended ones so it may fit better. https://amazon.com/gp/product/B01DM3EF6G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For $8 you can't go wrong.
  14. What mousepad should i get?

The cloth top separated and pealed off of the cushion in all cases.
  15. What mousepad should i get?

I've had the Dex and a couple different variants of QCK. None of them lasted half a year. Although I will say the Dex had the nicest surface of any mouse pad while it lasted.
