  • Biography
I'm half Brazilian and half German,Born in Hamburg though I live in Brazil because Europe gives me depression without the colours and joys from Brazil [:
I'm a graduated Translator at 4 different languages and I work as an export manager, I have studied coding in college but never graduated end up the whole tech interest was more of a savvy standpoint than professional, I enjoy meeting good people that share the interest, LTT is a wonderful place to come spend some time.

I really like Animes however not any kind of Anime, I prefer the more realistic ones, even if they are about fantasy, like CODE GEASS, Death Note or ones that have real original script like Re:Cretors. I have watch many though and am always open for a good advice!

I love My Little Pony obviously and it has a big effect in my life, common interest with my boyfriend which actually is a strong bond between us in a very long relationship already, so I often commission good art of it and all, if you like MLP and wanna talk on private feel yourself invited! ^^

  1. Why are houses in the USA made of wood ?

You can't really call that wood... most houses in the USA are made of plaster and plywood, which are dirty cheap materials that can be made in huge scale and easily shipped through the country to meet the high demand. These materials also makes easier to keep houses warm with heaters on winter at the north states. A shame though since I do agree nothing beats a house of masonry/brickwork.
  2. Intel to cut back on its Intel Inside program

I'd stick in my PC: AMD Inn Does this means if you send Intel a letter asking for a sticker for your processor they won't mail you back any more? Now that is what I call getting rough at business
  3. That Gskills are XMP? 8700K question.

If you'll keep your i7 8700k stock get the i7 8700 instead for cheaper and better power efficiency, they are identical; same turbo boost of 4.3ghz without MCE and 4.6ghz / 4.7ghz with it on to the i7 8700 / 8700k respectively. You can keep the i7 cool with a 212X for great temps never throttling and super silent. About your memory, every thing will work as expected, don't worry Intel's latest IMC on the z370 chipset is so stupidly great that just about any thing works, you can get a 2666mhz kit and overclock it yourself manually to reach 2933mhz at great timings, it is only a matter of working it. So your 3000mhz will probably go 3200mhz with tweaking.
  4. Wich CPU should I buy? 1950X, 7940X or 7960X

What workloads are you planning on? raw performance is meaningless to see, maybe you'll benefit a lot from AVX512 and should go Intel, maybe you just need mega-tasking and the TR1950x would serve you better.
  5. Intel 300 series 8 core?

The Intel Core i7 9700k will be a 10nm Ice Lake architecture processor featuring 8 cores / 16 threads releasing around September. Catch is: only works on yet to be released z390 chipset.
  6. isn't freesync or g sync useless if you dont go over 144 fps ?

It is not about you disabling or not yourself manually, it's effect simply stops working past the refresh rate that's just it.
  7. Best GPU for my old system

    a second hand gtx 750
  8. Ryzen CPUs

Yup because even the Ryzen 7 1800x will bottleneck a GTX 1080 Ti at 1080p/1440p: If you can afford a 1080 Ti you should be able to afford an i7 8700. Now AMD CPUs works "fine" with either nVidia or AMD the thing is they are slower than Intel so the fastest nVidia cards will obviously be bad pairing for the Ryzen line up.
  9. isn't freesync or g sync useless if you dont go over 144 fps ?

GSync does not cap fps, though should you have more fps than what your display's Gsync is design to support it no longer will be in effect.
  10. Gtx 1060 with g4400 or i3-7100 with 1050 ti for a gaming pc

    h110m motherboard Pentium G4560 GTX 1060 3GB
  11. Which motherboard is better to oc a r3 1200

Asus all the way because the Bazooka has its name for its VRM going booom! after OC. Seriously though the Bazooka sucks for both CPU and Memory overclocking which is essential to get the most out of Ryzen.
  12. isn't freesync or g sync useless if you dont go over 144 fps ?

If you enable either Gsync or Freesync you can't have fps above the supported refresh rate for either of the two which usually even on the highest possible end TN panels it still caps on the 144hz, meaning if you want either working you can't have more than 144fps... if you do/want because fast paced game like say CS:GO you have to enable nVidia's Fast Sync instead to reduce input delay to the maximum (does not work on AMD cards).
  13. Rate my cable management skills

It is easy with modular PSUs
  14. Windows 10 on the Cheap: Where and how reliable?

Win 10 is free to use, I mean sure you can't change your wallpaper but who cares
