  1. Hey all, i just bought far cry 5 last night and played it for a bit getting 50-60 fps on ultra (I have a ryzen 5 1600, 16gb ddr4, gtx 1080) its almost unplayable, on a 1080 i would expect to see at least 100 fps because im playing at 1080p. I also tried to set all the settings on low and in 720p and i was getting the same fps, any tips?
  2. So I recently upgraded to an EVGA GeForce GTX 970. I have been using an AMD A10-7850K(planning on upgraded to a Intel Core I7 4790k soon) with 8 GB of ram. Though my FPS is god awful, it has dips into 40's at low settings at 1080p on Battlefield 4 and other modern games. I know alot of other people are having this issue as well, though I was wondering if their is a fix? I'm using 344.75 drivers for my GPU aswell(the latest on 11/30/2014). I have tried the following: -Install new drivers -Disable IGPU via BIOS -Enhance my PSU to high settings -Installed other EVGA Software such as its overclocking software(Havn't overclocked) OTHER FORUMS -http://tomshardware.com/answers/id-2359528/gtx-970-low-gpu-load-low-fps.html -https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/781982/gtx-970-possible-gpu-load-and-low-fps-issues-with-344-16-driver/ -https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/786223/geforce-900-series/gtx-970-low-performance-and-utilization/3/ VIDEOS DEMONSTRATING THE PROBLEM -https://youtube.com/watch?v=4I3DUgZA-tY https://youtube.com/watch?v=R5wMorBRf0w I know I wont get 120 FPS on ultra, but 40-60 fps on low is ridiculous. I just hope upgrading to a Intel Core I7-4790k with a fresh windows install will fix.
